|Great choice, don't go past it|
|Mila S - February 2010|
Right in the heart of the Latin Quarter and so convenient to practically everything. Hotel staff were excellent and very helpful in recommending restaurants (La Ferrandaise next door is a must visit) and giving directions to helping book tickets (to Lido).
Rooms were funkily decorated, small but practical and only contained things you need. eg there was no fridge in our room, but guests have access to the communal kitchen near the lobby. Also did not have a phone/room info guide - but had excellent flat screen TV, bath robes and heated towel racks.
Our room was on the ground floor and looked over the courtyard. The room was well designed and made the most of the (small) space it had. The bathroom did not have a shower screen which may annoy some and if you turn the water flow on too hard, the whole shower floods (so keep the water flow slow else the carpet in the bedroom gets wet). Perhaps the more expensive rooms are worth the extra 20-30 euros for a showerscreen/bath tub.
If you intend on spending most of your time in Paris exploring while still having access to somewhere convenient and clean to revisit on and off and to sleep in, this is the place for you!!
